This Wellness Program exists for any family member or friend who is caring
for an older adult.
Beginning
at 5:45 PM caregivers are invited to participate in a guided discussion
about caregiver needs, available resources, and other caregiver-related
issues.
At 6:30
PM, Linda Lauzon,
Community Educator with Park Ridge Home Health, presents Home Health,
Home Care, and Home Companion Services. While these terms sound similar,
they have major differences which Linda discusses. This upbeat presentation
gives information about the three services and involves caregivers in a
fun activity. Linda has worked for Park Ridge Home Health for five
years. She is a member of the Henderson County Healthy Aging Coalition,
the Chair of the Henderson County Block Grant Committee, Planning Committee
Member for the Fletcher Relay for Life, and a former member of the Land
of Sky Community Advisory Committee. She has worked in the health
care field for nearly 25 years, and has a passion for helping older adults
and the disabled in our community.
